From the popular game "Blue Archive" the 1/7 scale figure of agent Zero-Two of the Cleaning & Clearing (C&C) club Karin Kakudate has been released on January 2024. Agent Zero-Two has a calm and composed expression and a dignified standing pose fit for the specialized sniper of the team. Max Factory was the company assigned to manufactured the figure and right from the start I can say that is a high quality figure. The artwork reference for the figure is her in-game artwork by Mx2J and both the sculptor (CKB) and the paintwork artist (Ichiro Ayabe) made sure to capture every detail.
The figure's base is sculpted as a devastated battefield, matching the outdoor warfare terrain which Karin enjoys carrying out her missions. The base's design has broken pavement with parts of rebars from what we can assume was a construction site. The tumbled orange construction cone immediately tells us that the base represents a piece of a construction site and the crushed blue can adds atmosphere to the figure.

As for the figure itself, it has a simplistic look with details that can be missed if one is not actively looking for them. The most notable feature of the figure is her flowing long hair. Her hair has a gradation from a black to violet at the tips. Her signature calm and composed expression has been perfectly captured and yellow of her eyes is almost if not identical to the source material. They even sculpted her eyebrows which are covered by her hair bangs.
Her club uniform has intricate details as well. The creases on the apron are as faithful as the source material. The dress portion of the uniform also has hidden creases at the back as well on the leggings which are clearly not visible on the source material, but is a beautiful translation by the sculptor. A detail I also like from the leggings is her codename imprint which looks really cool. Lastly her signature weapon, Hawkeye, has a subtle reflective black painting while the blue areas of the weapon have a more matte finish. They even added the logo for Millenium Science School on her weapon which is something we see on the weapon's in-game artwork but not on the figure itself.
If you are a fan of Blue Archive and especially Karin, then this is a fantastic figure to have. Max Factory did a phenomenal job bringing the original artwork by Mx2J to the scale figure we see here. I am hoping that C&C students get a figure in their base uniform. As of now, we have the bunny versions of Asuna and Neru, and they annouced the bunny versions of Akane and Toki which I am looking forward to purchasing them. Asuna has two bunny version figures which is one made by Max Factory, which I will be covering, and the other by Good Smile Company, which I might cover when the Karin bunny version arrives. As for Neru, I am hoping I can find one at a reasonable price since I did not know there was one until recently.
